More Than Strata Leadership Team

More Than Strata is led by experienced senior executive Bill Maiden. As your Senior Strata Manager, Mary Deguara will be your key point of coordination within MTS and will be responsible for governance, reporting and outcomes.

    He founded More Than Strata with the belief that Owners Corporations deserved to be managed like businesses, because they are businesses. Bill brings the leading thinking, tools and techniques gained over 20 years working as a strategy and management consultant with global technology consultancy Accenture, and as a private equity investor with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group.

    Mary’s role is to drive MTS’s specialist resources in support of the Committee’s and owners’ objectives. Mary was formerly Senior Strata Manager at O’Neil Strata Mgt in Bondi Junction.

    Kat leads the MTS repairs and maintenance team. She brings over 18 years of experience in strata management to More Than Strata and is a true dynamo of customer responsiveness, follow-up and issue resolution.

    Kathryn has expertly managed an impressive portfolio of properties in her career including residential, industrial, and mixed-use communities. She has overseen not only small schemes but expansive properties such as Castle Pine Estates with its 280 units and townhouses, and Waterside, a complex with over 600 dwellings across 14 Neighbourhood Associations.

    As a licensed builder, proprietor of a 5000 lot strata management business, who is also currently studying law, Matt brings deep expertise to MTS in support of our managers.

    Matt’s experience spans asset management, legislation, and regulatory compliance across construction, real estate, and strata management sectors. Holding qualifications in Construction and Building, Matthew has demonstrated a deep understanding of defect management and fire orders, with a proven track record in these areas.
